Own the Definitive History of The Civil War
Autographed Book by Shelby Foote

You can own a very unique piece of civil war history. This is an exclusive hand signed, heirloom quality, leather Easton Press collectors edition of the Shelby Foote three-volume history The Civil War: A Narrative. These books became famous after Foote made an appearance in the PBS documentary The Civil War in 1990. This impressive three volume 2,968 page narrative history of the American Civil War not only covers battles and troop movements from both sides, but also takes a look at the social background that started the war and led ultimately to the defeat of the South.

Fort Sumter to Perryville (1958) covers the roots of the war to the Battle of Perryville. All the significant battles are here, as are the smaller lesser known yet equally important engagements on both land and sea.

Fredericksburg to Meridian (1963) is dominated by the almost continual confrontation of great armies. The starting point for this volume is the Battle of Fredericksburg between the armies commanded by General Robert E. Lee and Maj. Gen. Ambrose E. Burnside.

Red River to Appomattox (1974) brings to a close the story of the four years that altered America forever. The final volume opens with the beginning of the two final major confrontations of the war: Grant versus Lee in Virginia and Sherman pressing Johnston in North Georgia in 1864.
